What is it?
Puberphonia, or mutational falsetto, is a functional voice disorder that is characterized by the habitual use of a high-pitched voice after puberty.

How is it treated?
Puberphonia is treated with voice therapy, which is usually able to completely and permanently allow patients to achieve a normal voice.
